These
courses are provided for FAA personnel under a long-term contract.
The initial course is six weeks long and is designed to provide
the necessary knowledge associated with certification of aircraft
or aircraft components in accordance with U.S. Federal
Airworthiness Regulations (FARs). The course is designed for
individuals who are already knowledgeable in flight test, but who
are unfamiliar with FAA certification procedures. The
refresher course is two weeks long and focuses on new
developments and recent changes to FARs affecting
certification procedures.
